Material
FDM — 316L Stainless Steel
By using a filament containing 80% metal particles bonded by a polymer base, we are able to produce items using FDM technology in solid metal – in this case stainless steel. After post processing through sintering, the item will have properties that are similar to those of an object machined from stainless steel.

Pros
- Solid metal at a competitive price-point
- Possibility to create solid metal objects otherwise impossible to make
- Can be processed like normal 316 Stainless Steel with regards to milling and surface treatments.
Cons
- Slightly lower dimensional tolerances
